Food shortages can create panic in the minds of vulnerable children and families who do not have any source of income generation. In poor countries like Uganda, there is food scarcity due to natural calamities like famine, crop failure or floods etc.
Chronic hunger persists and common pots serve various societies and neighborhoods in eradicating this food hunger among young and old.

HELPING VULNERABLE LADIES

Many Ladies survive with poor conditions with no access to basic amenities of life like food and clothes. Our organization reached out to these women and supplied baskets of non perishable food items.

Many women are living in a way with neither shelter nor food. Also, some are victims of violence or abuse. Encouragement can uplift their mental conditions. The situation of such members of society can be improved with joining hands together with Agape Hand to support vulnerable women so that they have a better life of peace and contentment.

Helping Hands in Sierra Del Peru

Agape Hands is a non-profit organization which has been helping many people who are unfortunate to provide food for the families.
Food baskets are provided in Sierra Del Peru for the needy. This region has over 50 percent population struggling with basic amenities of life. Being an extremely poor region, we encourage youth and all individuals to join hands with us to donate food and clothing. This region is badly hit by the pandemic leaving the people in extreme poverty with no source of income. Many families went into depression of losing jobs in Covid 19 and unable to cope up with the living.
Individual efforts and volunteers from all parts of the world are invited to join hands with us for the purpose of serving humanity. No one should be left behind with hunger.

People who are in distress need help. Agape Hands helps vulnerable families to rise from poverty and fulfill the basic needs of people to have better life. Many families are living in hunger especially when the bread runner of the families get sick due to illness and get hospitalized.
Our organization helps to deliver food to the families of the people who are in hospital. Also, tents were provided to people who had no home and lived on streets. Food was supplied to these people.
All this is possible by joining hands with us to make our society healthy and safe. Please collaborate with us to serve humanity and live life to serve a cause which gives inner peace to our souls by helping the needy. We need volunteers to come up and donate food or money to save lives of unfortunate people.

Agape Hand is a non-profit organization which has helped many people under poverty by delivering food. Through collaborative efforts of volunteers, local residents and dedicated team of this organization, tons of food was collected and supplied to people in need. Many families had no income for survival and got benefits from everyone’s efforts in eradicating poverty and hunger.
Also, many in many families, child mortality rate were higher due to lack of nutrition in pregnant women. Some families were victims of domestic violence and some with parents with disability. Agape Hand not only gave food but also collected donations for families in need. Whole team created awareness of eating healthy nutrients and raised sources of income support.
Donations were collected and basic needs of people were fulfilled by our organization for those who were victims of abuse and had no one to be taken care of.
All this was possible by the volunteers and residents who stood hand in hand in every cause and raised funds for the needy. Please be a part of Agape Hand and serve humanity.

¿Por qué ayudar a las personas necesitadas?

Ayudar a las personas que más lo necesitan es una de las formas de solidaridad que tenemos al alcance de la mano. Y si esa ayuda es desinteresada y se pone en marcha de manera altruista, su valor es el doble que el de otros gestos.

Pero ojo, no es solo una cuestión de dar lo que ya no necesitamos o de repartir entre los más vulnerables aquello que nos sobra. La ayuda desinteresada consiste en otra cosa: es compartir aquello que tenemos con otros a quienes les hace falta y, gracias a ello, contribuir a su bienestar y su calidad de vida. ¿Lo has puesto en práctica alguna vez?

Ayudar a las personas: fórmulas cotidianas y gratificantes

Cuando hablamos de ayudar a las personas, una de las alternativas más recurrentes es vincularnos a un proyecto de voluntariado, bien sea en nuestro país o en latitudes, culturas, territorios o continentes lejanos.

¿Te gusta la idea?

No obstante, no es necesario tomar la mochila y coger un vuelo hacia el otro lado del mundo para poner nuestro granito de arena. También puedes hacerlo a través de actos cotidianos y sencillos pero con un inmenso valor humano. Mira los que te proponemos a continuación y dinos si ya practicas alguno:

Donar artículos de primera necesidad, medicamentos, alimentos o incluso sumas de dinero que financien proyectos de asistencia a poblaciones en riesgo de vulnerabilidad. Hay muchas organizaciones en activo que necesitan recursos materiales para cubrir sus actividades.
Retribuir a quienes han hecho algo por ti en algún momento de tu vida, más allá de cuándo o de cómo lo han hecho. Por ejemplo, si alguna vez estuviste entre los beneficiarios de una fundación o de un proyecto en concreto, ¿por qué no implicarse ahora como voluntario para ayudar a otras personas?
Alentar a quienes soliciten tu ayuda a buscar una vida digna. Un consejo, una recomendación o incluso una palabra pueden ser elementos que sirvan como guía a personas en situación vulnerable. Recuerda que tus conocimientos también son una fuente incalculable de solidaridad.
Implicarse de lleno en proyectos de tu comunidad o en iniciativas que vayan orientadas a la construcción de un mundo más justo y solidario. ¿Quién mejor que tú mismo para saber lo que necesitan las personas que comparten tus mismos espacios de convivencia?

Refugiados: ayudar a las personas más necesitadas

Un ejemplo de lo que decimos se aprecia actualmente en las familias que han decidido acoger voluntariamente en sus hogares a personas refugiadas, quienes huyen de sus lugares de origen por culpa de la guerra o de crisis humanitarias.

La guerra de Siria, en concreto, ha provocado que más de 5,5 millones de personas deban abandonar sus hogares y buscar lugares más seguros, casi siempre en los países vecinos como Jordania, Irak, Líbano o Turquía.

También en Europa se han registrado ejemplos de acogida de personas que en medio de este tipo de crisis lo han perdido todo, dejando toda una historia de vida en sus lugares de origen. Estos casos son un claro ejemplo de solidaridad, empatía, altruismo, humanismo y sensibilidad social de los que todos deberíamos tomar nota.

Además, ahora también puedes ayudar a los refugiados con un regalo de boda solidario el día de tu enlace matrimonial, un regalo muy diferente y gratificante a la vez.
