There is food, but no real nutrition. Mouths are fed, but bodies are not strengthened. This is how <strong>anemia<\/strong> works: a silent enemy that weakens millions of people without them even noticing\u2026 until it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is anemia, and why should we care?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Iron-deficiency anemia<\/strong> is a condition where the body lacks enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen to tissues. That may sound technical, but the consequences are devastating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Extreme fatigue, even in young children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Difficulty concentrating and learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Higher risk of infections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In pregnant women: premature birth and low birth weight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the WHO, anemia affects over <strong>1.6 billion people<\/strong> worldwide. Many times, the answer comes down to one word: <strong>anemia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And what\u2019s heartbreaking is that this condition doesn\u2019t only affect rural areas. It\u2019s present in poor urban neighborhoods, maybe even next door to you. It lives in a plate that lacks protein. In the absence of nutritional education. In the poverty that blocks access to healthy food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This isn\u2019t just a health issue\u2014it\u2019s a matter of justice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fighting anemia means <strong>defending the right to a healthy childhood, a future full of opportunities, a safe pregnancy<\/strong>. It means tackling the problem at its roots: nutrition education, access to iron-rich foods, early diagnosis, and local awareness campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At \u00c1gape Hand, we are committed to this fight. Because <strong>health should not be a privilege\u2014it\u2019s a human right<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can you help?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Share this message<\/strong>.
