In remote rural and Amazonian communities, the reality is even harsher: thousands of elders survive without stable access to food, healthcare, or family support. Many live in small wooden homes, far from markets, clinics, or government programs. Their isolation is not only geographic\u2014it is emotional and social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/agapehands.org\/feeding-hands\/\">Giving Tuesday<\/a><\/strong>, AGAPE HAND is raising support for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/agapehands.org\/feeding-hands\/\">1,200 abandoned elders<\/a> (\u201cabuelitos\u201d)<\/strong> who urgently need consistent access to nutritious food and human connection. These elders are not statistics\u2014they are people who once worked the land, cared for their families, and contributed to their communities.
